Improvements - inside and out! July 2011

Alterations to the interior of the restaurant are almost complete and Little India now has more space in both the restaurant and the bar. The exterior of the restaurant was repainted in the spring and the decorative lights replaced. Plans to extend the bar area by 4 feet towards the road were thwarted at the planning permission stage by the Parish Council so the restaurant owners looked for alternative ways of increasing space in the restaurant.
The dining room next to the kitchen now has extra space for tables and has natural lighting for the first time with a large window and glass doors. An opening in the dividing wall with the main dining room integrates the two rooms and adds more natural light into the smaller room. Table settings now only have black and white cloths in a more sophisticated design.
The bar area has significantly more room with additional seating and an updated decor.
